Jen Santos, the Parks & Open Space Superintendent, will update the council on the status of grant funding and progress for Petaluma's Urban Forestry Management Plan.

The Tree Advisory Committee chair will lead a discussion about how to celebrate and recognize the completion of updates to the City's Tree Protection Ordinance.

Three working groups will report on their efforts: one on educating the community about tree protection policies, one on partnering with community groups to plant trees, and one on updating public information and keeping residents informed about tree-related events.
