Staff provides updates on the General Plan Update initiative, and committee members can ask clarifying questions.

Staff presentation i Update on land use alternatives and policy ii Overview of community engagement approach iii Options for GPAC review of the Framework and support for engagement b. Clarifying questions from GPAC members c. Public comment d. GPAC discussion of the public and GPAC review of the Public Draft Land Use Policy Framework
Staff presents draft land use policies for the General Plan Update, explains how the community will be engaged, and the committee discusses and reviews the framework before it goes out for public comment.
5ProceduralGENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT During General Public Comment, the public is invited to make comments on items of public interest that are within the Committee’s subject matter jurisdiction and that are not listed on the current agenda. Public comments are limited to three minutes per person, unless public comment is anticipated to total more than twenty minutes, at which point the time will be allocated in equal shares.
Members of the public can speak for up to three minutes on any topic within the committee's jurisdiction that is not already on the agenda.
6ProceduralCOMMITTEE MEMBER GENERAL COMMENT Open time for thoughts, reflection, and closing comments from GPAC members.
Committee members have time to share their own thoughts and closing comments.
