2ProceduralROLL CALL, LOGISTICS AND MEETING OVERVIEW
Staff will take attendance, handle any logistics matters, and provide an overview of the meeting agenda.
3ProceduralPROJECT AND STAFF UPDATES a. Updates on initiatives related to the General Plan Update (GPU) b. Clarifying questions from GPAC members
Staff will update the General Plan Update Advisory Committee (GPAC) on progress with the city's General Plan Update initiative, and committee members will have a chance to ask clarifying questions.
4ProceduralGPAC ROLES IN UPCOMING COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT a. Presentation by Brian Oh, Director of Community Development, about the approach to upcoming community engagement as well as leadership roles for GPAC members and working groups. b. Public comment c. GPAC discussion
The Director of Community Development will explain how GPAC members and working groups will participate in upcoming community engagement efforts for the General Plan Update, followed by public comment and committee discussion.
5ProceduralSTRATEGIES FOR MAKING PETALUMA A 15MINUTE CITY a. Presentation by Troy Reinhalter and Ron Whitmore from Raimi + Associates to introduce strategies to ensure that all residents can meet most of their essential needs within a 15 minute walk of their home. b. Public comment c. GPAC discussion
Consultants will present strategies for making Petaluma a '15-minute city' where residents can walk to essential services and needs, with time for public comment and GPAC discussion.
6ProceduralCOMMITTEE MEMBER GENERAL COMMENT Open time for thoughts, reflections, and closing comments from GPAC members.
GPAC members are invited to share their closing thoughts, reflections, and comments about the meeting or topics discussed.
7ProceduralGENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT During General Public Comment, the public is invited to make comments on items of public interest that are within the City Council’s subject matter jurisdiction and that are not listed on the current agenda. Public comments are limited up to three minutes per person. Depending on the number of persons wishing to address the Council, time will be allocated in equal shares totaling no more than twenty minutes, subject to the Council’s discretion (Cal. Gov’t. Code §54954.3(a), Petaluma City Council Rules, Policies and Procedures, III).
Members of the public can speak for up to three minutes on any topic of public interest within the city's jurisdiction that is not already on the agenda, with a total public comment period of up to 20 minutes.

9ProceduralADJOURN Any member of the public who needs accommodations should email the City Clerk at cityclerk@cityofpetaluma.org or by calling 7077784360. The City Clerk will use their best efforts to provide reasonable accommodations to provide as much accessibility as possible while also maintaining public safety in accordance with the City procedure for resolving reasonable accommodation requests.
