CITY OF PETALUMA, CALIFORNIA REGULAR MEETING OF THE TREE ADVISORY COMMITTEE City Hall Council Chamber 11 English Street Petaluma, CA 94952 MINUTES Wednesday, October 15, 2025 CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL PRESENT: Marianne Bertuccelli, Bill Cover, Diane Gentile, Stephanie Sanchez, Keith Schildt ABSENT: Taryn Obaid, Darren Racusen GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT During General Public Comment, the public is invited to make comments on items of public interest that are within the City Council’s subject matter jurisdiction and that are not listed on the current agenda. Public comments are limited up to three minutes per person. Depending on the number of persons wishing to address the Council, time will be allocated in equal shares totaling no more than twenty minutes, subject to the Council’s discretion (Cal. Gov’t. Code §54954.3(a), Petaluma City Council Rules, Policies and Procedures, III). PRESENTATIONS 1. ReLeaf Petaluma - Review and Provide Input on Tree Planting Species and Scope for Additional Tree Planting Sites Identified for the 2025-2026 Planting Season to Include Several Site within the Public Rights of Way and Areas of Community Interest. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 2. Approval of Minutes for the Meeting of September 17, 2025 Minutes were deemed as approved. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND MATTERS FOR CONSIDERATION 3. Tree Advisory Ad-Hoc Subcommittee Prioritization: Review, Discuss and Identify which Ad-Hoc Sub-Committees are to Remain Active During 2026 and Make Recommendations to Determine the Terms and Expectations for Assignments. Staff Liaison Halter took the lead on this topic as the Chair was out. Committee discussed, asked questions, and went into further discussions not related to Ad-Hocs. To be discussed at an upcoming meeting. COMMITTEE COMMENT Committee Comments Schildt – Planning Commission update. STAFF COMMENT Staff Liaison Halter shared update on LAD’s ADJOURNMENT 4:44p.m.
