Public comments are limited up to three minutes per person. Depending on the number of persons wishing to address the Council, time will be allocated in equal shares totaling no more than twenty minutes, subject to the Council’s discretion (Cal. Gov’t. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND MATTERS FOR CONSIDERATION 4. Blueprint Implementation Ad Hoc Subcommittees Planning Discussion Patrick Carter described the last meeting’s Ad Hoc discussions and the goals for the Ad Hoc discussions today, including participation by members of the public, describing succinctly the purpose of the Ad Hoc and their 6-month goals, including possible future speakers at the Climate Action Commission meetings Public Comment Opened Public Comment Closed Committee Feedback: None Chair Atchley called for recess at 6:50 PM for Ad Hoc subcommittees and members of the public to have breakout discussions Chair Atchley reconvened the meeting at 7:35 PM • Commissioner Edminster presented for Building, Clean Energy & Electrification Ad Hoc about the purpose of their Ad Hoc, their six- month goals, and future speakers to bring into CAC meetings. • Commissioner Baker presented for Transportation, the Built Environment, Natural Systems, Sequestration & Adaptation Ad Hoc about the purpose of their ad hoc, their six-month goals, and future speakers to bring into CAC meetings • Chair Atchley presented for Resource Consumption & Waste Reduction Ad Hoc about the purpose of their Ad Hoc, their six-month goals, and future speakers to bring into CAC meetings COMMISSION COMMENT Chair Atchley Vice Chair Peters Councilmember Shribbs Commissioner Thors Commissioner Krishna Commissioner Edminster STAFF COMMENT Patrick Carter presented on updates, including changing the time of the regular meetings for the Climate Action Commission, and Syserco project progress Deb Fox presented on updates, including the California Energy Board E-Bike Incentive Project, and the opportunity for Commissioners to present on their Ad Hocs at the Future Fest event on May 4, 2025 (referenced by Natasha Juliana in the Cool Petaluma presentation) ADJOURNMENT Chair Atchley adjourned the meeting at 8:10 PM.
