CITY OF PETALUMA, CALIFORNIA REGULAR MEETING OF THE AIRPORT COMMISSION City Hall Council Chamber 11 English Street Petaluma, CA 94952 MINUTES Thursday, January 02, 2025 CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL PRESENT: ABSENT: Jeff Domich, Anna Dietrich, Marcus Margand, Tom McGaw, Colin Perry, Nancy Sasser, Karen Nau GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT During General Public Comment, the public is invited to make comments on items of public interest that are within the City Council’s subject matter jurisdiction and that are not listed on the current agenda. Public comments are limited up to three minutes per person. Depending on the number of persons wishing to address the Council, time will be allocated in equal shares totaling no more than twenty minutes, subject to the Council’s discretion (Cal. Gov’t. Code §54954.3(a), Petaluma City Council Rules, Policies and Procedures, III). PRESENTATIONS APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. Approval of Minutes for the meeting of December 5, 2024 Minutes of December 5, 2024 were deemed approved. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND MATTERS FOR CONSIDERATION 2. Review of Petaluma Municipal Code Title 16 – “Airport and Aircraft” Revision Draft Submitted by Airport Commission Chair on 12/28/24. Chair Dietrich discussed disclaimers for the definition sections in 1604.010 Commissioner Margand and Commissioner Sasser asked for clarification on several points Commissioner Perry asked questions about enforceability Manager Cohen added his thoughts COMMITTEE COMMENT 3 Council Update 4 AdHoc Subcommittee Reports Commissioner McGaw discussed meeting with Carl Dietrich and Barry Lawrence re: Jump Aero 5 Commissioner Comment STAFF COMMENT 6 Airport Manager Report The discussion included hangar doors that will need repair and what options are available. The possibility of a hangar repair ad hoc was raised. Commissioners Margand, Perry and Domich will meet and discuss. ADJOURNMENT
