CITY OF PETALUMA, CALIFORNIA REGULAR MEETING OF THE TREE ADVISORY COMMITTEE City Hall Council Chamber 11 English Street Petaluma, CA 94952 MINUTES Wednesday, January 15, 2025 CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL PRESENT: Bill Cover, Eberle Ewing, Taryn Obaid, Darren Racusen, Roger McErlane, Marianne Bertuccelli ABSENT: Howard Formby GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT During General Public Comment, the public is invited to make comments on items of public interest that are within the City Council’s subject matter jurisdiction and that are not listed on the current agenda. Public comments are limited up to three minutes per person. Depending on the number of persons wishing to address the Council, time will be allocated in equal shares totaling no more than twenty minutes, subject to the Council’s discretion (Cal. Gov’t. Code §54954.3(a), Petaluma City Council Rules, Policies and Procedures, III). APPROVAL OF MINUTES 2. Approval of Minutes for the meeting of November 20, 2024 Minutes were deemed as approved. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND MATTERS FOR CONSIDERATION 3. Introduction to the Urban Forest Management Plan Development and Nomination of one Tree Advisory Committee Member to serve as Committee’s Representative on the Urban Forest Management Plan Working Group. Staff Liaison Chong introduced Kelaine, Urban Forestry Consultant, to share the presentation. Kelaine shared her presentation. Committee Comment Obaid McErlane Cover Motion to select a member (or two) of TAC to be on Committee for the Urban Forestry Master Plan. Committee Member McErlane and Chair Racusen were nominated to be on the Committee and accepted.
