Public comments are limited up to three minutes per person. Depending on the number of persons wishing to address the Council, time will be allocated in equal shares totaling no more than twenty minutes, subject to the Council’s discretion (Cal. Gov’t. Sonoma County Transportation Authority/City of Petaluma EPA Sustainable Communities Accelerator Network Pilot Project – School Zone Resilience & Mobility Hubs Margot Ocanas shared updates on the SCTA Accelerator Program APPROVAL OF MINUTES 3 Approval of Minutes for the meeting of January 9, 2025 Minutes approved as presented PUBLIC HEARINGS AND MATTERS FOR CONSIDERATION 4. Establishing Consistent Processes for Ad Hoc Subcommittee Activity Tracking and Reporting Deb Fox detailed the goals of the Ad Hoc meeting on this day Agenda Item Public Comment Eric Leland Agenda Item Public Comment Closed 5. Subcommittee Meetings, Breakout Discussions, and Reporting Chair Atchley called for recess at 7:00 PM for Ad Hoc subcommittees and members of the public to have breakout discussions Chair Atchley reconvened the meeting at 7:45 PM Chair Atchley presented for Resource Consumption, and Waste Reduction Ad Hoc • Discussed progress on creating a waste ordinance to present to City Council Commissioner Edminster presented for Buildings and Clean Energy Ad Hoc • Discussed goals such as the adoption of green energy in Petaluma and a phase out of gas-powered landscaping equipment Commissioner Baker presented for Transportation, the Built Environment, Natural Systems, Sequestration & Adaptation Ad Hoc • Provided updates of the Ad Hoc’s discussion to research more into active transportation and green streets COMMISSION COMMENT Councilmember Shribbs Commissioner Garti Commissioner Edminster STAFF COMMENT Patrick Carter presented updates, including on the City Council’s budget discussion and the solar array project at Ellis Creek ADJOURNMENT Chair Atchley adjourned the meeting at 8:17PM
