Goal 6: Work with Sonoma County Master Plan for Aging Ad Hoc Members: No Ad Hoc - all SAC members will participate (if possible) in MPA. Updates from seven different task groups working on senior-focused initiatives in Petaluma, including efforts to increase social activities, improve physical and mental health, expand access to resources, make infrastructure more senior-friendly, coordinate with the county's Master Plan for Aging, and build connections between seniors and younger residents.

Public comments are limited up to three minutes per person. Depending on the number of persons wishing to address the Committee, time will be allocated in equal shares totaling no more than twenty minutes, subject to the Committee’s discretion (Cal. Gov’t. Code §54954.3(a), Petaluma Rules, Policies and Procedures, III). PUBLIC COMMENT: - None PRESENTATIONS:

Ad Hoc Committee Updates a. Social Activities: Nickola speaking with seniors to understand what resources they’re looking for and introduce them to the SAC b. Physical Health and Well Being: 1. Blue Zone is meeting with the city c. Improve Senior Health and Well Being 1. No updates d. Increase Access and Info 1. Patricia is now on this committee 2. Building Together event - May 10, 2025 at Herzog Hall e. Advocate for Senior Friendly Infrastructure 1. Don - connected with Portland Loo and Public Bathroom C a. PL is working on ADA compliance for California b. Don sent suggestions on Portland Loo v Public Bathroom Co 2. We need to formulate a public campaign to address the issue that there needs to be a public restroom in downtown Petaluma 3. Nickola to address city council on this issue as a rep for the Senior Advisory Committee f. Work with Sonoma County Master Plan for Aging 1. Housing and transportation groups have been formed 2. They will be meeting in June g. Foster Intergenerational Connections 1. Nickola will report back to us re RTP integration COMMITTEE MEMBERS’ COMMENTS: 1. Nickola: On May 10, 2025, RTP is doing a free dinner (5-8pm) as a thank you to the citizens of Petaluma. There will be 7 restaurants setting up 7 booths. All ages. STAFF COMMENTS 1. Iya a.
