CITY OF PETALUMA, CALIFORNIA REGULAR MEETING OF THE RECREATION, MUSIC & PARKS COMMISSION City Hall Council Chamber 11 English Street Petaluma, CA 94952 MINUTES Wednesday, July 16, 2025 CALL TO ORDER Chair Earl called the meeting to order at 6:01 PM R OLL CALL PRESENT: José Alegre, Marianne Bertuccelli, Cody Chisham, Stacey Earl, Brenda Garcia, Kate Greenspan ABSENT: Alex DeCarli AGENDA CHANGES AND DELETIONS Staff Laison Halter requested an agenda change to add recognition of former commission members. Commissioners approved. OATH OF OFFICE GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT During General Public Comment, the public is invited to make comments on items of public interest that are within the City Council’s subject matter jurisdiction and that are not listed on the current agenda. Public comments are limited up to three minutes per person. Depending on the number of persons wishing to address the Council, time will be allocated in equal shares totaling no more than twenty minutes, subject to the Council’s discretion (Cal. Gov’t. Approval of Minutes for the meeting of May 21, 2025 Minutes were deemed approved. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND MATTERS FOR CONSIDERATION 3. Election of Officers- Discuss and Elect a Chair and Vice Chair of the Recreation Music, and Parks Commission to Serve Until June 30, 2026, or Until a Replacement has Been Appointed- Drew Halter, Director of Parks and Recreation. Motion to nominate Commissioner Bertuccelli for Chair made by Chair Earl, seconded by Commissioner Greenspan. Vote: Carried 6-0 Yes: Commissioner Alegre, Commissioner Bertuccelli, Commissioner Chisham, Commissioner Earl, Commissioner Garcia, Commissioner Greenspan. No: None Absent: Council Member DeCarli Abstained: None Motion to nominate Commissioner Chisham for Vice Chair made by Chair
