ROLL CALL PRESENT: Balshaw, Felix, Garcia, Meyers, Schleret, Yeager ABSENT: Gordon, Greenspan, Quint 1. City Clerk to swear-in newly appointed member David Felix. Vice Chair Yeager introduced City Clerk Caitlin Corley to swear in newly appointed. Caitlyn Corley swore in David Felix. 2. Appoint a Chair and Vice Chair – PUBLISHED 08/05/2025 Vice Chair Yeager introduced the item, invited Bjorn Griepenburg to present. Bjorn Griepenburg described the roles of the Chair and Vice Chair. Vice Chair Yeager requested nominations for Chair. Committee Member Schleret nominated Vice Chair Yeager for Chair, Committee Member Balshaw seconded the nomination. Vice Chair Yeager requested nominations for Vice Chair Committee Member Balshaw self-nominated for Vice Chair, Vice Chair Roll call vote: 6-0-3 Yes: Balshaw, Felix, Garcia, Meyers, Schleret, Yeager No: None Absent: Gordon, Greenspan, Quint
GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT During General Public Comment, the public is invited to make comments on items of public interest that are within the City Council’s subject matter jurisdiction and that are not listed on the current agenda. Public comments are limited up to three minutes per person. Depending on the number of persons wishing to address the Council, time will be allocated in equal shares totaling no more than twenty minutes, subject to the Council’s discretion (Cal. Gov’t. Code §54954.3(a), Petaluma City Council Rules, Policies and Procedures, III). Bjorn Griepenburg described the background and purpose of the ad hoc committees and discussed existing committees. ADJOURNMENT Chair Yeager adjourned the meeting at 7:34 PM.
