CITY OF PETALUMA, CALIFORNIA REGULAR MEETING OF THE PEDESTRIAN & BICYCLE ADVISORY COMMITTEE City Hall Council Chamber 11 English Street Petaluma, CA 94952 MINUTES Wednesday, September 03, 2025 CALL TO ORDER Chair Yeager called the meeting to order at 6:31 PM. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Balshaw, Felix, Garcia, Goldman, Quint, Schleret, Yeager ABSENT: Chisham, Meyers GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT During General Public Comment, the public is invited to make comments on items of public interest that are within the City Council’s subject matter jurisdiction and that are not listed on the current agenda. Public comments are limited up to three minutes per person. Depending on the number of persons wishing to address the Council, time will be allocated in equal shares totaling no more than twenty minutes, subject to the Council’s discretion (Cal. Gov’t. Code §54954.3(a), Petaluma City Council Rules, Policies and Procedures, III). Public Comment – Lamoreaux Bjorn Griepenburg provided a response to this prior Public Comment. Approval of Minutes for the meeting of August 6, 2025 Minutes approved as presented. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND MATTERS FOR CONSIDERATION 2. Ad Hoc Committees Breakout Discussions and Reporting Bike-Friendly Businesses Street & Trail Design Standards Wayfinding
Chair Yeager introduced the item and asked Bjorn Griepenburg to explain more about the breakout discussions. Bjorn Griepenburg explained the purpose and format for the ad hoc committee breakout discussions. Chair Yeager called a recess at 6:40 PM for the breakout discussions. Chair Yeager reconvened the meeting at 7:27 PM and asked the ad hoc committees to report out. • Committee Member Felix reported out for the Bike-Friendly Businesses ad hoc committee. • Committee Member Schleret reported out for the Wayfinding ad hoc committee. Bruce Hagen (member of the Public) added to the reporting out. • Chair Yeager reported out for the Street & Trail Design Standards ad hoc committee. Committee Member Garcia added to the reporting out. Chair Yeager opened Public Comment. Bruce Hagen Chair Yeager closed Public Comment.
